OUR HISTORY
Naco Technologies as we know it today, was founded by world-wide leading material scientists and skilful entrepreneurs from Latvia in February 2020. Company name “Naco“ stands for “Nano Coating“ that is the key competence of the Company. This competence is based on the leading edge know-how technology developed as the result of almost 50 years of research and development in the nano coating area. The first itiration of Naco was established in 2010 with the first high-speed ion-plasma magnetron sputtering (HMS) machine being built in Riga, Latvia in 2012 and Naco F5 (the low friction coating for automotive parts) developed, tested and sold to German automotive company in 2015. Today Naco is 100% focused on hydrogen industry, bringing it's R&D knowhow to reach global hydrogen goals.

Designed and patented nanocomposite solid lubricant coating. Developed catalytic coatings for chemical reactors and batteries. Patented a new conveyor device for inline PVD equipment.
