FUEL CELL COATINGS

Bimetallic nitrides (ICR Cathode)
Naco hydrogen fuel cell coatings use bimetallic nitride solution. This protects BPP's without extensive use of noble materials. These are suitable for PEM. Naco ICR is ranked #1 in the independent performance and degradation tests. It consists of three layers. The first provides good adhesion, the second (main) nitride layer prevents hydrogen diffusion and the few-nanometer top layer ensures stable conductivity.

Carbon for BPP
Naco BN, our advanced bimetallic nitride coating for PEM fuel cell bipolar plates, offers exceptional durability and performance. Engineered with a low interfacial contact resistance (ICR) of less than 1 mΩ·cm², Naco BN ensures efficient conductivity, minimizing energy loss and enhancing fuel cell efficiency over extended cycles.

Oxides for Interconnects
For solid oxide systems, Naco Ox leverages our proprietary technology to create oxide layers that are 10 times thinner than conventional spray coatings, significantly enhancing conductivity and reducing resistance without compromising durability. With its ultra-thin profile, Naco Ox delivers a low area-specific resistance (ASR) of 3 mΩ·cm² and superior chromium penetration resistance, optimized for the high temperatures and rigorous demands of solid oxide electrolysis.
